For over three decades, the African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) has been at the forefront of strengthening human and institutional capacity for inclusive and sustainable development across Africa. With a membership spanning 40 African countries and key international institutions such as the African Development Bank, the United Nations Development Program, and the World Bank, ACBF remains a pivotal player in capacity development on the continent. In today’s rapidly changing governance landscape, the ACBF has identified the urgent need for a highly skilled labour force. For too long, the focus has been solely on technical skills. However, professional skills such as leadership, management, communication, data analytics for decision making, negotiation, problem-solving, and strategic thinking are crucial in addressing the specific challenges faced across the continent and drive meaningful change. |
